Leo joint installation 2009.

On the 8th of August, the Joint Installation of Region 1 Leo Clubs was held at the Banquet. This ocassion was attended by a total of 420 Lions and Leos. The Lions present were 2nd VDG Lion Tan Tsu Kun, DC Leo Lion Albert Tiang, Region 1 Chairperson Lion Eric Tan and PDG Lion Tan Soh Har. So when the food was served, a series of performances were held. The first performance was by our very own Leo Club members, they did the classic thriller dance and Billie Jean dance as a tribute to Michael Jackson. This was then followed by a unique hip hop dance performed by SMK Sungai Maong. They were really talented and creative. CHMS No.1 also gave a splendid performance on songs originally sang by Leona Lewis and Bon Jovi. Lastly, SMK Green Road had their very own beat boxer Alvin Choo to entertain the Lions and Leos. All in all, the performers succeed and amazed their audience with their awesome performances! The occasion was ended with a competition for best-dressed. The meeting was then adjourned at 3:00 pm sharp by Presiding officer, President Chia Siaw Ling from Lions Club of Stampin Pending. Many of the Leos stayed back for more fun with the live band from CHMS no. 1 and the footloose which lasted until 5:00 pm in the afternoon.

Our very first activity.

ACTIVITY #1 : Leo Leadership and Team Building Training

On the 25th of July, the BOD has carried out this first project with 19 other committee member. The aim of this activity was to bond all Leo members of different age and to cultivate leadership skills in each of them. We managed to get more than a hundred Leo members to participate in this activity. The program started at 8.00 am and ended at 11.30am.
